Spirit Of Inati
Share
In Tokelau, there is a tradition known as Inati.
When the fishermen return from the ocean, they bring their boats close to shore and call out:
"Tamaiti, kina Inati!"
"Children, come and collect a share."
The day's catch is carefully divided so that every family on the island receives an equal share. It is a tradition built on fairness, generosity, and the belief that a community is strongest when everyone is included.
At IKA-NEI, this tradition inspires everything we do. While we may no longer gather on the shores of Tokelau, we carry the same values with us—sharing, caring for one another, and honouring the traditions passed down through generations.
Every bag of IKA-NEI is more than premium fish jerky. It is a small piece of Tokelau's story, shared with the world.
